    Job Description

    ​​​​​​ The Opportunity:

    We are currently seeking a full time  Warehouse Storeman  for our Port Melbourne Store . Our team are responsible for ensuring our customers receive their correct orders on time and have a seamless end to end experience that will leave them singing the praises of National Tiles.

    This role involves:

  • Picking and packing of goods
  • Forklift driving
  • Loading of customer orders into vehicles
  • General housekeeping of the warehouse, maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
  • Abiding to WHS guidelines to ensure a safe workplace for all 
  • Desired Skills and Experience

    What we expect from you:

  • Provide a friendly and seamless finish to the customer experience
  • Heavy lifting will be required in this role with boxes weighing in excess of 30kgs
  • Minimum 12 months' forklift driving experience and a current forklift licence
  • A safety conscious culture
  • High level of accountability
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be proactive and reliable in a busy team environment.
  • Computer literacy skills are an advantage
  • Accurately recording information on picking slips is required so organisation, administration and attention to detail are necessary skills
  • Planning and time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet company deadlines
