We are currently seeking a full time Warehouse Storeman for our Port Melbourne Store . Our team are responsible for ensuring our customers receive their correct orders on time and have a seamless end to end experience that will leave them singing the praises of National Tiles.
This role involves:
Picking and packing of goods
Loading of customer orders into vehicles
General housekeeping of the warehouse, maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
Abiding to WHS guidelines to ensure a safe workplace for all
Desired Skills and Experience
What we expect from you:
Provide a friendly and seamless finish to the customer experience
Heavy lifting will be required in this role with boxes weighing in excess of 30kgs
Minimum 12 months' forklift driving experience and a current forklift licence
A safety conscious culture
High level of accountability
Excellent communication skills
Be proactive and reliable in a busy team environment.
Computer literacy skills are an advantage
Accurately recording information on picking slips is required so organisation, administration and attention to detail are necessary skills
Planning and time management skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet company deadlines
