  • We look forward to you joining our Global Tax Function as our new Tax Manager - ANZ, Europe, Middle East and Group. Based in Sydney and reporting to our Global Head of Tax, this senior role will see you utilising your international tax knowledge to successfully deliver of a full range of tax compliance services as you join an innovative team in supporting GHD operations.

    Joining a close-knit team of passionate finance professionals, you will play a pivotal in leading and guiding tax strategy and compliance management. Supporting a truly global organisation that is focused on maintaining an agile approach that delivers for our customers, you will respond to business demands and play a key role in contributing to our ongoing growth and success.

    Key responsibilities will see you:

  • Undertaking ANZ, Europe and Middle East regions tax compliance, corporate income tax, transfer pricing, and advise on indirect and employment taxes
  • Responsible for the preparation of consolidated tax reporting, reviewing processes and monitoring inputs to ensure that information provided is robust, accurate and relevant, supporting decision making and meets regulatory and other requirements
  • Playing a key role in international tax matters including; CFC's, PE's, global Country by Country Reporting and other BEPS initiatives, including expanding the roll-out of transfer pricing compliance
  • Taking a proactive approach in supporting strategy and related global initiatives, including the ongoing integration of tax systems and processes for international compliance
  • Leveraging your specialist skills, knowledge and experience to assist in the development and utilisation of intelligent automation solutions and other projects that support a culture focused on continuous improvement
  • Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications coupled with CA or CPA status
  • Proven commercial experience and demonstrated specialist taxation knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to provide specialist consulting and advisory services to diverse stakeholder groups as you think ahead to anticipate and support business needs
  • Strong project management skills, proven commercial awareness and an ability to influence others in the achievement of business objectives
  • Ability to work in and mentor/develop a small team
  • Strong Communication skills with all levels in an organisation, in particular in a non-tax way
  • Those with any relevant Postgraduate qualifications will be viewed favourably, as will those coming from Senior Manager level within a Big 4 consulting organisation.
