We are now looking for a passionate and driven Supply Manager to join our growing Purchasing team. The successful candidate will provide support to the team at our Sydney Fulfilment Centre, executing strategy through developing financial business models; streamlining and reengineering existing business processes and providing support to management for the purchasing of packaging and non-foods.
This role reports to our Head of Purchasing & Inventory and works very closely with our Strategic Sourcing, Production, Culinary, Supply Chain and Quality Assurance teams, managing suppliers On Time Delivery, Fulfilment Rate, Quality Score, and ordering and forecasting based on predictions of the customer orders and sourcing the required goods for production.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating as needed
Identify trends and provides insight into ways to achieve strategy execution and improve packaging and non-food processes.
Manage current and forecasted demand, managing the PO process to ensure accuracy, timely delivery and quality to cater production requirements across all non-food categories
Daily communication with suppliers, production, and operations team to ensure seamless end-end processes and constant improvement to ensure customer satisfaction
Gather, manipulate, and transform data from different sources to generate reports and improve the efficiency and accuracy of several workflows for the purchasing team
Managing vendor performance, always ensuring a high level of accountability and adherence to agreed KPI's
Measure supply chain performance and report to management and cross-functional teams
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure customer needs are thoroughly understood, and that processes and systems are implemented to address those needs
Ad hoc analysis and projects as required
Degree in a relevant discipline
5+ years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain in the FMCG industry
Experience with Google Docs and ERP systems, Nav experience would be advantageous
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to manipulate data and provide/present useful analytics to Management
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and collaborative business environment with a knack for problem solving and conflict resolution
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence and engage internal and external stakeholders of all levels
Ability to develop and plan efficient ordering processes, based on MOQ (Minimum order quantities), lead times and shelf life.
