An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Social Worker to join the Social Work Department at the Bundaberg Hospital within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over , residents including several rural communities.

Your opportunity: As a member of a multidisciplinary team, deliver high quality social work services to patients of the Bundaberg Hospital and to their families and carers to optimize psychosocial outcomes, and to achieve maximum benefits from health care services.
Permanent Full Time ( hours ) and Temporary Full Time ( hours ) from date of appointment up to twelve months, with the possibility of extension.
Prior to being made an offer of employment, you will be required to demonstrate immunity to the following Vaccine Preventable Diseases ( )(VPD): Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (chicken pox) and Pertussis (whooping cough).
