Golder has a new opportunity for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis based in Perth . You will be working on a variety of civil and mining infrastructure projects in Perth and across WA.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical advice on complex geotechnical issues to clients and internal stakeholders;
  •  Assisting with project planning and deliverables of technical complexity;
  •  Coordinating and/or conducting geotechnical investigations including interpreting geotechnical data, performing analysis and drawing conclusions/ recommendations;
  • Preparing geotechnical reports and undertaking field assignments;
  • Preparing proposals and reports for clients with appropriate senior review;
  • Maintaining client contact and customer liaison; and
  • Identifying safety hazards and completing OH&S incident reporting.
  • Qualifications

    Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field, as well as 5+ yours relevant experience in Geotechnical Engineering within a consulting firm or similar;
  • Solid fieldwork experience in various geological conditions;
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail;
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills; and
  • Good Project Management skills and the ability to establish and build relationships with clients.
