The Policy and Employee Relations Branch is responsible for developing and maintaining the Departments Human Resources policies and guidelines for the public service and teaching service; managing the industrial environment; and providing strategic and expert advice and consultancy support to internal stakeholders, managers and principals on human resources and employee relations matters.
Fixed Term - Full Time - Up to 12 Months
We are looking for 1xVPS5 senior employee relations consultants to join our enthusiastic and team focused branch for a period up to 12 months.
We are seeking individuals, who possess strong conceptual and analytical skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills. Previous experience in Employee Relations or a similar field will be highly regarded.
To succeed in this role, you will have experience with change and consultation processes, stakeholder and customer management, an understanding of the public sector industrial environment and strong policy analysis and interpretation skills. In addition, you will be organised and able to work to often tight deadlines and with competing priorities. This is an excellent opportunity to utilise your current skills and experience and develop your career.
A tertiary qualification in a relevant field is desirable, but not essential.
