About the Role

We are currently seeking a Senior Customer Marketing Specialist to join our Sydney office. You will be responsible for product management and Customer marketing of the Gas Detection Portfolio within ANZ & ASEAN markets. The goal of the position is to drive aggressive and profitable product line growth by developing and executing on its strategic roadmap. This roadmap will involve understanding the key end-users needs, segmentation, designing and managing product portfolio, executing robust value and tactical pricing, providing sales support and training, and driving tactical marketing programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the revenue and targets for the product line for the ANZ & ASEAN region and interface globally with product management of other HON regions and other regional functions
  • Develop a strategic and execution-ready product roadmap combining the market demand and our supply options and strong business/financial rationale
  • Conduct market assessment, segmentation, and identify target segments/verticals/offerings
  • Track market and competitors to pro-actively refine strategies to continue profitable growth
  • Define the core SKU’s, product positioning, competitive assessment, and pricing in the portfolio
  • Launch NPI’s to growth vitality of the portfolio and develop new opportunities in the region.
  • Develop demand generation programs to drive the revenue both in channel and enterprise business
  • Drive Account based marketing for customer acquisition and pitching the value proposition of PSS portfolio.
  • Engage channel through promotions and campaign to drive sell in and sell out revenues and grow the reseller base.
  • Train sales and technical teams on product features, value drivers, and sales pitch – prepare/package the relevant documents and test data to support the sales and specification process
  • Improve Inventory optimization across the product category via developing a strong SIOP process understanding and driving the process across various functions.
  • Key Experience & Capabilities:

    ·Graduation in Science or Engineering preferably with PG in Marketing

    ·Minimum 5 -7 years of commercial experience in a marketing position in B2B environment

    ·Prior experience in industrial products involved with machine manufacturing will be an added advantage

    ·Preferably have multinational experience

    ·Demonstrated success in product development/launches and end-to-end execution of marketing strategies

    ·Strong analytical skills with the ability to connect the overall direction to details and vice-versa using data and qualitative information

    ·Excellent written, oral, and technical communication skills and presentation skills

    ·Self-starter, structured thinker, ability to work collaboratively across functions/regions, influence others, multi-task, and work with stretch goals and deadlines.

    ·Entrepreneurial, start-up, and business development skills an advantage. Strong MS office skills
