In this role you will be responsible for project delivery, design management & project management, for positioning and winning projects involving a range of services. The role will be instrumental in collaborating with commercial, project management, engineering and design technical leaders to create opportunities for Jacobs to plan, develop, deliver and operate a range of projects.

Based in our North Sydney office and reporting to the Drafting Lead, as the Bridge Design Technician Specialist, you will provide senior level technical support and supervision in relation to the coordination of the engineering drawing deliverables.

Here's What You'll Need:

  • Tertiary engineer/drafting qualifications
  • High level CAD skills, with strong knowledge of data transfer between key software packages
  • Basic Project Management experience – meeting budgets, time & quality requirements
  • Experience in a variety of projects – across a range of disciplines with extensive experience in a specific discipline
  • Experience working on small and large sized projects
  • Decision making – identifies issues, problems and opportunities & chooses appropriate action
  • Experience following and implementing drafting standards, procedures and document controls
