About the Role
As part of the Queensland Division and the broader Oceania Relationship Management team, this role has responsibility for development and delivery of strategic account plans as part of the organisation-wide account-based marketing strategy. This strategy seeks to create genuine partnerships with employers and tertiary institutions to add value to the employer, our members within the organisation and potential members. Through engagement, the strategy also aims to deliver on multiple KPIs including new member growth, enrolment in the CPA program, and awareness and take up of products and services. The incumbent will also be a key link to member engagement through liaison with Divisional committees and discussion groups and working as part of the Division’s broader remit of member service and engagement. The role has a direct reporting line to the Queensland Divisional GM and a cross functional reporting to the GM Acquisition & Sales.
As outlined in the position description, core activities will include:
Deliver on strategic account management and acquisition, leveraging expertise of the Acquisition Team.
Build CPA’s profile with a focus on strategic relationships, through engagement and partnership with key accounts, attending meetings, divisional events and networking.
Identify key decision makers, understand their needs and build valued, sustainable relationships with, for example: CFO’s / Managing Partners Recruitment Managers Graduates and employees who may potentially become members of CPA Australia
Promote awareness and increase take up of CPA Australia’s professional development offering, products and services including the CPA Program.
Participate in regular reporting of activities, sales training, coaching, learning and celebrating success with the Acquisition & Sales team and other Relationship Managers in Oceania.
Identify opportunities to connect the work of Divisional Council and Committees to enrich the Queensland member experience and attract new members.
Support the Queensland Division in ensuring a broad spectrum of educational and networking events, information sessions and award/recognition events are offered to support the career life cycle of members.
Facilitation of workshops, chairing of diverse member events, and employer, education and member engagement presentation delivery.
Maintain data integrity for the Division

A passion for meeting people and investing in long standing relationships
Previous experience in key account management
Attention to detail and willingness to actively contribute to regular reporting, coaching and learning sessions.
An ability to present to different audiences, including C-suite professionals, in both small and large forums and ability to pitch and close sales
You enjoy working in a hands-on role, have drive and thrive in a small team environment
