Skilled Medical has an exciting career opportunity for a Registrar or Principle House Officer in Psychiatry to commence a 12 month fixed-term position in a Regional QLD hospital.
The successful candidate will provide high quality medical service to consumers within the Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Services. Candidates who are in the training program with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrist (RANZCP) are encouraged to apply.
Salary Information: Total remuneration value of up to $146,455 p.a. is comprised of;
• a salary between $110,712 - $128,361 p.a.

The mental health service is provided as one service, multiple sites and offers services to a catchment population of approximately 250,000 people.
The department includes 16.5 FTE Consultants, 21 Junior Medical Officers (including 1 Senior Registrar, 16 Registrars, 3 Principal House Officers, 1 Resident Medical Officer and 2 Interns. The service is accredited by the RANZCP for training through to achievement of the Fellowship of the RANZCP including accreditation for advanced training in Adult, Old Age and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and has a close relationship with the Rural Clinical School within the local University.
