Registered Nurse Hospital in the Home (HITH) RN Grade 3B Casual



Applications are invited from experienced Registered Nurses to join our dedicated Hospital In The Home team. These casual positions are available for an immediate start and include working a rotating 7-day roster. The successful applicant will work closely with medical and nursing team members, patients, their families and carers to provide high quality acute care in the Wimmera community. The Registered Nurse will work both independently and within a multi-disciplinary team to provide education and support to the community.



Key Selection Criteria include:


Essential:



  • Current Registered Nurse Division 1 registration with AHPRA

  • Advanced clinical knowledge and skills

  • A high level of communication and organisational skills

  • The ability to relate to and work collaboratively with a broad range of clients, carers and service providers

  • The ability to assess community needs, plan, implement and evaluate the delivery of quality health care programs

  • Self motivating and able to work autonomously

  • Current Victorian Drivers Licence



  • Desirable:



  • Advanced clinical knowledge and skills in acute care

  • Previous experience in District Nursing, Hospital in the Home or a related community based service

  • Hold a relevant tertiary nursing qualification or be working towards the same

  • Experience with Microsoft computer programs including word and outlook
