Downer Professional Services provides a broad range of professional and managed services, asset sustainment and estate upkeep services to the Australian Defence Force, the New Zealand Defence Force and other government agencies.

Position summary

Downer Professional Services is currently seeking a Project Controls Administrator to provide support to GM Professional Services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage the input project and contract data in Microsoft Dynamics
  • Ensure project/contract data accuracy is maintained
  • Run project/contract reporting in line with fortnightly/monthly business cadence
  • Support development and implementation of project/contract management business processes
  • Work closely with Microsoft Dynamics implementation team to ensure impact of system updates/releases on operational business unit is understood

  • Experience working in administration, finance, project coordination is desirable

    This role would suit a highly organised and efficient administration professional who has worked in project controls and has strong knowledge of Microsoft applications to create reports and present information in Excel and PowerPoint. The successful candidate will have well-developed research, literacy and analytical skills with strong written/oral communication skills.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, business administration, finance or accounting is highly desirable.
  • Cert. IV in Project Management, PRINCE2 or equivalent (desirable). 
  • Security

    Due to client requirements, candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency security clearance at the appropriate level (must be an Australian citizen).
