What you'll do:  

The Project Administrator’s primary focus is to provide administrative and project management support to the Program Transformation Director, the PMO office and other members of the Program Management Group. The primary focus areas are:

  • Coordinate new starter IT set up, building pass access, desk space, support with system set up, MS teams, JIRA and other project tools
  • Mailbox monitoring, drafting and sending program comms, responding to queries from program team members.
  • The program's calendar management and scheduling of events
  • Central coordination and collation of program governance packs, pre meeting preparation, document formatting and proof reading in line with key reporting cycles
  • Support meetings, take minutes, follow up actions with invitees and coordination of agenda for meetings
  • Coordination support for program events such as townhalls, program planning days and other leadership team events
  • Maintenance of central resource trackers, distribution lists and other central program registers
  • Working with the Project Accountant to process invoices, purchase orders, travel requests and other associated finance requests.
  • This is a 12 month fixed term contract/secondment.

  • Proven initiative and ability to prioritise work, schedule own work, work with minimal guidance and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with a range of stakeholders within the Project team, across other Metcash teams and externally
  • A team focus with the ability to work autonomously.
