    About the role

    With a passion for exceptional client service, you will be a team player who provides personal and tailored support to help individuals who, due to disability, illness or injury, are unable to manage their financial and legal affairs.

    About the Teams

    Independent Living Team
    Our independent living team plays the critical role of onboarding newly appointed clients with a commitment to delivering excellent client service. They identify and secure client assets, income and entitlements and negotiate agreements regarding clients' financial circumstances.

    Aged Care Team
    Our Aged Care team provide onboarding of newly appointed and existing clients within Aged Care. This team required to obtain knowledge and experience in aged care legislation, fees and chargers.

    Financial Assets Management Team
    The Financial Assets Management team (internally known as FAM) focus on the ongoing management and maintenance of clients financial and legal affairs and respond to client & 3rd party requests.

    VCAT reporting
    Internally known as the sections team, this team responsible for the preparation of reports to, and attendance of VCAT Guardianship and Administration hearings. The team provides an annual or triennial review of financial administration clients' affairs at the time of their preparation for reassessment.

    Skills & Experience

  • Well-developed professional communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Understanding and experience dealing with clients with a disability
  • Competent financial literacy
  • Relevant administration experience
  • Ability to prepare commercial standard correspondence, reports and recommendations
  • Ability to prioritise and work autonomously
  • Basic computer literacy including competent use of Microsoft Office
  • Business administration experience preferably within the financial, legal or disability sectors will help you secure this role.
