Hachette Australia is seeking an entry-level Marketing Coordinator who will bring their passion for books and exceptional organisation skills to support the preparation of high-quality, customer-facing digital material and ensure the smooth running of the Marketing department.

Duties include:

  • Working with the Marketing Manager and the team on the management and curation of social media channels and digital platforms
  • Support the preparation of high-quality, customer-facing digital material including social media, EDMs, and websites updates
  • Support the preparation of Marketing internal communications
  • General departmental administrative duties and database management
  • Hachette’s mission is to make it easy for everyone, everywhere, to unlock new worlds of ideas, learning, entertainment and opportunity. We publish an array of A-list authors on the international list including Stephen King, Nora Roberts, John Grisham, J.K. Rowling, Ronan Farrow and Delia Owens. Over the past five years, Hachette Australiahas focused on growing the Australian list with around 100 new titles now published each year. The stellar line-up of local authors includes Michael Robotham, Jessica Townsend, Geraldine Brooks, Peter FitzSimons, Maxine Beneba Clarke, Natasha Lester and Rebel Wilson.

    The ideal application will have outstanding organisational and time-management skills, a meticulous eye for detail, outstanding copy-writing skills, a positive outlook and willingness to learn. Qualifications or relevant experience in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing and/or Publishing highly valued.
