Job Description

NES Fircroft is partnering with a Tier 1 Oil & Gas organisation to source for a Maintenance Scheduler to join their team. This will be undertaking the maintenance works for their transmission pipelines.
This role is a 12-month contract with an attractive day rate.

Job Requirements:

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
  • Maintaining maintenance/work management systems, as well as other technology and systems which support them
  • Planning maintenance work schedules for preventative maintenance, backlog work and maintenance manpower schedules involving spares/special equipment that is needed to complete the work
  • Facilitate scheduling meeting to augment craft labour hours, job grouping of multiple maintenance tasks for equipment’s, systems, and locations to optimise equipment availability and increase hands on tool time.
  • Preparing detailed critical path plans using MS Project and Primavera software
  • Coordinating with all stakeholders to optimise planned maintenance and to minimise interference with operation of plant
  • Manage risk of the Work Orders to ensure that they are scheduled within the prioritisation maintenance envelope, start no later and finish no later dates.
  • Preparing cyclic all work schedules to ensure optimum labour utilisation and management of spares and for all work activities scheduled
  • About You:
  • Strong experience as a maintenance scheduler within a heavy industrial setting (oil & gas will be highly regarded)
  • A background in Primavera software would be highly advantegous
  • Experienced in system audits, data maintenance, data presentation, maintenance system reports and record maintenance
  • Residing in Brisbane
  • Able to work independently and within a team environment
