The role As an Architect you are responsible for providing technical leadership to small size/complexity/order-value projects within national and global organisations. You are expected have depth of knowledge of specified technological area, which includes knowledge of applicable processes, methodologies, standards, products and frameworks. To be successful in this role you will: Be responsible for defining and documenting architecture, capturing and documenting non-functional (architectural) requirements. Be preparing estimates and defining technical solutions to proposals (RFPs). Provide technical leadership to project team to perform design to deployment related activities. Be responsible for the architecture design and development of the application. Lead the design of the REST services. Responsible for the creation of data modela and object models on the server side. Have contributed to the decision on technology stacks used for production while being responsible for laying out the initial structure of projects including Maven build scripts JPA entities and Spring Data JPA Repository interfaces. Help and mentored other team members in the areas of technologies used in best practices to be adopted and the low level design of the services to be implemented. Have extensive experience in choosing the right technology stacks for applications. Have documented and defended proposed architectures and designs with clients. Provide guidance, perform reviews, prevent and resolve technical issues. Ensuring the successful deployment of products into the market. Responding to requests from the design team and management. To help us level up, you'll ideally have: 8+years experience as individual contributor Design Lead 2+ years experience as a Technical Architect Experience in leading development teams of 10+ developers including onshore + offshore, while having relevant experience in mentoring teams in development, engineering, architecture etc. Strong programming experience with Java application servers and software packages - Involved in complete product life cycle with various sizes and complexity of organizations. Expertise working with Agile methodologies like Scrum. Have also worked extensively with the Waterfall Model. Minimum 3 years experience with Java Springboot Minimum 3 years experience designing using Microservices Architecture Experience with Camunda BPMN (min 1 year exp) Experience developing Cloud Native applications Hands on experience using AWS or PCF services Experience with Message-Q : Rabbit MQ / AWA SQS Experience with Database : PostgreSQL Tools experience with: Swagger JUNIT/Mockito Git Hub If you only meet some of the requirements for this role, that's okay…We value a diverse range of backgrounds & ideas and believe this is fundamental for our future success.
