The role

Reporting to our HR Manager, this role is solely responsible for coordinating the end to end internal recruitment of all vacant positions within Swatch Group Australia. The incumbent will partner with retail and wholesale hiring managers regarding their recruitment needs, including sourcing, screening, interviewing and reference checking. You will also be responsible for recruitment planning, reporting, attraction strategies and developing and maintaining a candidate talent pool.

As a person who is working across all our brands and departments we require a candidate who has exceptional customer service skills, works well in a busy, fast paced environment, is able to meet tight deadlines and can multi-task.

Responsibilities

  • Candidate sourcing through various channels such as job boards, The Swatch Group website, social media, executive search etc.
  • Meeting with hiring managers for job role briefings
  • Drafting and posting recruitment advertisements on internal and external job boards
  • Candidate cv and phone screening to compile a shortlist
  • Interview support (attending and/or arranging interviews) at each stage of the recruitment process
  • Reference checks
  • Perform all required pre-employment checks and liaise with Payroll Officer in regards to employment contract/letters of offer
  • Candidate Database/Talent Pool management
  • Ensure all recruitment policies, procedures and techniques are adhered to and recommend improvements
  • Work closely with the retail Brands to plan for new store openings
  • With the HR Manager, monitor staff movements and placements in relation to parental leave and return to work arrangements
  • Recruitment performance and reporting
  • Effectively utilise and maintain up-to-date knowledge of SGA’s recruitment administration system – Lumesse TalentLink
  • Organise and conduct employee exit interviews
  • Skills and experience

  • Extensive experience in recruitment and selection (either agency or internal)
  • In-depth knowledge of recruitment practices and relevant employment legislation
  • Strong interviewing and role analysis skills
  • Relationship management and influencing skills
  • Highly service orientated
  • Full understanding of the sensitivity and confidentiality of the function and ability to act upon it
  • Intermediate Microsoft office skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, psychology or relevant field highly desirable
  • Experience dealing with general HR matters beneficial
