In support of this, the ASC Digital Transformation Program Team will be delivering a roll out of new technology with an integrated ERP solution. This implementation will be supported through an organisational objective to ensure our people are engaged and empowered to succeed in a culture of innovation in a digital world.

To support ASC’s Digital Transformation Program we are seeking an experienced Data Analyst who will be responsible for managing the master data set, developing reports, and troubleshooting data issues. The purpose of this position is to provide practical data & analytics support to ASC to enable the delivery of long-term sustainable change and improvement across the wider business.

About you

To be considered for this full time permanent opportunity it is important that one must display expertise across the following key competencies:

  • Experience in the development and monitoring of performance indicators and benefits, underpinned by data model design and database build experience/knowledge
  • Experience in analysis / reporting - including use and understanding of business intelligence tools, data warehousing and intranet based reporting
  • Experience working in a large integrated data warehouse environment
  • Proven ability to gather relevant data for analysis, extrapolate key insights, trends and hypothesis from within corporate data sets
  • Experience/exposure in Lean principles and Agile Scrum methods
  • Experience/exposure with BPM and/or RPA technology
  • Expertise in Business Intelligence with technical and practical knowledge in SQL, Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, Data Warehousing, RDBMS
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting and guiding across the business on data management, data issues as well as tracking and resolution.
  • Demonstrated experience in data migration activities as well as providing expert advice and insight with respect to data issues, data transformation rules and business rules to ensure the smooth migration of data
  • Demonstrated experience in facilitating and coordinating various data governance workshops, meetings and communications in order to resolve data issues across the organisation.
  • Tertiary level qualifications in Business, Statistics, Physics, Engineering or Mathematics
  • To be considered for this opportunity, one must display significant technical expertise coupled with the ability to work effectively autonomously and within a team environment. The preferred candidate will also demonstrate fantastic organisational capabilities, strong time management skills as well as the ability to interact successfully with all levels within an organisation up to and include executive managers. You will also be a self-starter who displays highly developed planning and analytical skills as well as high motivation and initiative.
