    The Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) vision is to be responsive and flexible, delivering high quality and connected services to all generations of veterans, their families and the wider veteran community. Our inclusive and diverse workforce unleashes creativity and innovation.

    DVA is seeking registrations from eligible candidates for ongoing and non-ongoing employment with the Department. Our pre-employment service, Indigenous Skills Talent Acquisition Register (iSTAR), makes it easier for you to work with us.
    We support people on the register by letting you know about new vacancies that might be a good match for your skills, experience and qualifications and provide you information on the job selection process such as writing applications and interviewing.


    Eligibility
    Candidates must identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person and must be Australian citizens
    Candidates will be required to undertake a pre-employment process.

    The Indigenous skills talent acquisition register will be updated every 12 months in February. Please ensure you re-apply at the end of each 12 month period if you wish to remain on the register.
