Country Manager - Australia / NZ ABOUT INSENDI Insendi is a leading education technology company that advances digital education for universities and colleges globally. Insendi's Learning Experience Platform (LXP) transforms the learning experience for both students and educators to one that is immersive, experiential and connected. As an end-to-end provider of digital transformation solutions, Insendi also provides full Learning Design services, consulting services and access to suites of learning content that can be co-branded or private labelled. Insendi helps education providers service a new market of digital natives via online and blended learning solutions for all types of learning including undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes, micro-credentials, skills and language learning. Insendi is a Study Group company based in London with a Regional Head Office in Singapore. THE POSITION Insendi is seeking an experienced and proven senior executive to be our Country Manager -Australia and New Zealand. This role has a strong business development focus as we drive for aggressive expansion in these two key markets. The successful candidate will use their deep understanding of the tertiary education market in Australia and New Zealand to grow the market for Insendi products and services. Whilst this is a solo role for now growth in the market will allow for a growing team to service this market. You will know how roll up your sleeves and get the job done. Reporting to the Regional Director APAC, you will be a strategic and forward-thinking leader who is has a demonstrated outcomes focus to ensure the success of Insendi and our partners. You will be able to research and identify key opportunities and appropriately communicate with all levels of medium and large organisations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES + Develop and implement a business development plan and budget and implement it across Australia and New Zealand + Promote and build the Insendi brand across the market to enhance awareness and receptivity within targeted audiences + Use data and research to identify opportunities + Generate leads and cold call prospective customers + Meet with prospects face-to-face or online and conduct demonstrations + Foster and develop relationships with prospective and existing customers + Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan + Respond to tenders and negotiate successful outcomes for Insendi and our customers + Maintain detailed and up-to-date records including in Salesforce + Work with the Regional HQ and Insendi marketing team to direct the development and implementation of customized marketing plans to enhance productivity and grow revenue + Serve as the expert and resource on key market strategies and tactics for segmentation, prospecting, promotion, client experience, affinity marketing and centre of influence development + Design ongoing programs for engaging and communicating with customers and users to promote continued usage and satisfaction + It is expected that significant interstate and some overseas travel will be part of this role KEY SELECTION CRITERIA + The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, organised, diligent, creative and focused self-starter with superb verbal and written communication abilities and strong interpersonal skills. + Proven track record in developing and administering a B2B and/or B2G large and medium-sized customer acquisition and sales programme with measurable results + Highly detailed and organised with the ability to prioritise multiple projects + More than 10 years of experience in business development, preferably in higher education + Must be able to travel both within Australia and internationally. + Passion for technology and its transformational abilities + Ability to think strategically about the future, including the impact of technological, geopolitical and sociological change and the potential issues and opportunities that arise + Superior relationship building, communication, and interpersonal skills + Well-developed political savvy and personal diplomacy that allow this individual to work successfully with and among power centres and sources of influence + A person of unquestioned honesty and integrity + Must have the right to live and work in Australia Powered by JazzHR
