Latrobe Regional Hospital (LRH) is the major provider of specialist health services in the Gippsland region, east of Melbourne. Our comprehensive range of services extends to emergency and intensive care, elective surgery, allied health, obstetrics, medical and radiation oncology at the Gippsland Cancer Care Centre, dialysis and aged care.

LRH Mental Health Service operates an integrated specialist mental health program across the region and provides inpatient and community mental health care for adults, children and young people and older persons. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and suitably qualified Community Clinician to join the Wonthaggi Community Mental Health Team at Latrobe Regional Hospital on a Casual basis.
Reporting to the Team Manager the successful applicant will play an important role in
Clinical assessment, care planning and treatment including the provision of a comprehensive assessment of needs for referred clients, their family, and carer's, and to develop and deliver therapeutic interventions, and coordinate care.
To be successful in this position you will need to have:
• Registered Nurse Division 1* or 3. OR
• Degree or Diploma of a recognised school of Occupational Therapy or to be eligible to be a member of the Victorian Association of Occupational Therapists. OR
• Full General registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (this does not include “provisional” registration) OR
• Degree or Diploma in Social Work eligibility or other qualification acceptable for membership to AASW.
• Current Victorian Driver’s License and be prepared to undertake a National Police Check
• Current Working with Children’s Check
• Computer literacy skills
