Position Profile: We are seeking to appoint motivated, enthusiastic Clinical Nurses to the Fiona Stanley Hospital’s Neonatal Unit. The Neonatal Unit is an 18 bed Level 5 NICU that cares for permature, all forms of respiratory support and babies born to high risk mothers who birth at FSH. As part of a multidisciplinary team you will provide clinical and professional expertise to ensure comprehensive evidence based midwifery/nursing care is delivered to patient. The Clinical Nurse facilitates and promotes patient safety and quality of care and practices within their scope of practice considerate of the Nursing and Midwifery Board’s Midwifery Practice Decisions Flowchart.
Area Profile: Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.
