Based in Perth and reporting to the Section Leader: Transport (Western Australia) – the Associate Rail Engineer is responsible for providing consultancy and engineering services in the Rail market across the ANZ region. The role will be responsible for assisting with project delivery, design management and project management, assisting with positioning and winning projects involving a range of services. The role will support leaders of the Rail team, in terms of team development and growth, building design capability and growing the rail portfolio. Key to this role will be the interface with our Global Integrated Delivery centres in order to improve delivery capability to meet targets. #ANZTransport #LI-AP1 #ANZRail #APMETransport

Here's What You'll Need:

You will have sound engineering knowledge and/or design experience - ideally railway planning / design management / track alignment / railway earthworks. Project experience including feasibility studies, detailed design delivery and project handover is preferred as you’ll be assisting Senior Rail Engineers and Design Managers to position and win work.

Key requirements for the role:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • Membership of a relevant professional institution including Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or equivalent overseas professional recognition is preferable
  • Design skills using software applications such as Bentley Railtrack and OpenRail
